These earbuds are perfect for me. I live in a college dorm. General college noise can make it difficult to study, not to mention think. I had been using my standard iPod headphones for both my iPod and my computer. When I got fed up with the noise in my dorm, I bought these because of the fantastic reviews and for the price.
I've had them for only about a week, so I can't comment on their durability/lifespan, but I have to say that the noise-isolating feature of these earbuds works better than I would ever have expected it to. It's so easy to deal with noise now; just pop the earbuds in and I'm good to go.
When I first received the earbuds, I was a little displeased with the audio quality. It sounded muffled and particularly bass-heavy. Reviews on another web site warned that the sound quality might not be great for the first few hours of use, and to allow for a 24-hour burnin period for audio quality to improve. The quality has since noticeably improved and it has (by far) surpassed the quality of my iPod headphones and Radius earphones. I should also note that it may take a while for you to get used to the feel of these headphones if you're used to the typical iPod earbuds, but they became incredibly comfortable and natural-feeling to me after a day or two of use.
I bought these when they were $25.99 with FREE SHIPPING, making this buy incredible. I'm so happy that I chose to buy these. Such a small change has made a huge difference in my life in the past week. HIGHLY recommended.
