American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe has no love for his rivals. The Brit called The Voice "gimmicky" and The X Factor an Idol clone. Lythgoe ranted to reporters following news that The Voice was watched by 37.6 million Americans after Sunday's Super Bowl. By comparison, about 19.7 million viewers tuned into last Wednesday's episode of Idol.
