The bad news is spreading for baking fans in Norway where a butter shortage has caused prices to skyrocket to almost $500 per pound. The shortfall has been blamed on a rainy summer that cut into dairy output in a big way. One man was arrested trying to smuggle 90 pounds of butter across the border.
