North Carolina cops set up a DUI checkpoint emblazoned with the slogan "booze it and lose it," and it didn't take long before they had a winner or loser. Douglas Shane Southard, who was driving with a revoked license, slammed into the mobile unit at a high rate of speed. The city bus-sized unit was not damaged but Southard's 1989 Camaro was totaled. The 21-year-old was charged with reckless driving and DUI.
