PARALYMPIAN WALKS AGAIN AFTER FREAK ACCIDENT - Monique Van der Vorst certainly does. The 27-year-old Dutch handcyclist had been paralyzed from the hip down since the age of 13. While training for the 2012 Paralympics, she got into an accident when another handcyclist hit her, landing her in the hospital. While recovering the accident actually unparalyzed her! She is now training as a cyclist for the 2016 Olympics!
