Donald Trump fired himself yesterday as the host of the Newsmax Republican debate, not because most of the Republican presidential hopefuls won't attend, but because he wants to reserve his right to run for president. He said that some of the Republican candidates wouldn't agree to attend the debate unless he promised not to run for president as an Independent -- and he's not ready to make any such promise.
