Brent Aguirre lost the ring just a few months after his high school graduation in 1966, and says that he totally wrote off the idea of getting it back. Over the course of the past few decades, he moved around, from Germany to Korea, but recently ended up near his old home, where he was tracked down on facebook by someone who recognized his name from the inscription on the ring.
