For the second time in less than a week, a U.S. Navy crew came to the rescue of Iranian seamen in danger yesterday. The Americans pulled six Iranians from a cargo boat that was in trouble after its engine room was flooded. The Iranians were rescued by a Coast Guard patrol boat known as the Monomoy, which is on assignment in the northern Arabian Gulf. One of the six Iranians said, "Without your help, we were dead."
